Iran’s stockpile of uranium enriched to 60%

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has sounded the alarm, warning that Iran’s stockpile of uranium enriched to 60% will reach nearly 250 kg by the time the next report is issued in March.
The director stressed that this rapid acceleration is a serious warning sign and urged immediate action. With Iran pushing ahead at dangerous levels of uranium enrichment, the IAEA is calling for urgent engagement from the new Trump administration—but so far, there have not been enough direct talks.
The agency is waiting for Trump to appoint a special envoy to Iran to address the escalating nuclear threat.
