Poland has signed a $745M deal to acquire over 200 AGM-88G AARGM-ER missiles from Lockheed Martin, making it the first regional ally with advanced radar-destroying capabilities.
These missiles will arm Poland’s incoming fleet of 32 F-35s, with possible integration for F-16s.
Deputy PM Kosiniak-Kamysz hailed the deal as a “breakthrough purchase” as Poland boosts defense spending to 4.2% of GDP amid Eastern European tensions.
Deliveries are scheduled for 2029-2035.
